To set your grommet, simply pre-cut your grommet hole with an arch punch or similar cutter, place your grommet pieces around your pre-punched hole. Next, place the barrel-side of the grommet onto the die plate with the barrel facing up. Place the peg of the die inside the grommet barrel and use a hammer or mallet to hit the top end of the peg to securely set your grommet.
